• Areas with historic or archaeological features are ineligible

What you'll do

Take grassland corners or blocks out of management and leave them uncut and ungrazed so tussocky grass and cover develop. No grazing or cutting (except localised control of weeds, rush, nettle or bracken), no fertiliser, manure or lime, no pesticides except spot-treating problem weeds, and don't disturb breeding birds.

Evidence to keep

• Photos of the out-of-management corner or block with its parcel reference
• Dated management records showing it was left uncut and ungrazed
