Eligibility conditions

What you'll do

Keep a continuous grass sward over a historic or archaeological feature on grassland to protect it — minimise bare ground, scrub, bracken and pernicious weeds. Don't plough, cultivate, re-seed, harrow or roll it, and keep vehicles and stock access at least 6m from the feature. Not on land parcels of more than 15 ha above the moorland line, and the land must be on an SFI HEFER before entry.
