Eligibility conditions

• Below the moorland line
• Temporary grassland and fallow are eligible only as part of the crop rotation, present for no more than 2 years of the action's duration
• Not on strip-tillage land

What you'll do

Sow every crop with a no-till direct drill, with no conventional or shallow min-till cultivation before sowing or between harvest and sowing (strip tillage doesn't count as no-till). Low-disturbance subsoiling and mole draining are allowed where genuinely needed, but not on land with historic or archaeological features.

• Field operation records showing the no-till drill used
• Dated drilling records per parcel
• Contractor invoices, if drilled for you
