Eligibility conditions
- Enclosed land parcel of less than 15ha in a severely disadvantaged area (SDA) above the moorland line
- Registered 'fully organic' with a Defra-licensed organic control body
What you'll do
Keep already-organic enclosed rough grazing (and associated scrub, bracken or bog) under organic management throughout the agreement, meeting your Defra-licensed control body's organic standards. Only for enclosed land parcels of less than 15 ha in a severely disadvantaged area (SDA) above the moorland line.
Evidence to keep
- A valid organic certificate and schedule covering the action
- Records showing the land is unimproved low-input rough grazing

- SPM5 — Keep native breeds on extensively managed habitats supplement (>80%) (£11 per hectare, per year)
