Low ammonia emission flooring for livestock buildings
£72 per square metre
A fixed rate for the work, not a yearly payment.
Applied for and held in hectares, not square metres: 150 square metres is 0.015 hectares.
The 2026 round
Closed to applications on 1 September 2026. No new round has been announced. Checked 27 September 2026.
In the 2026 round, Air quality items were limited to £25,000 per application.
Catchment Sensitive Farming support
Needs Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) support. In the 2026 round, support had to be in place before the round opened; support given in the previous two years counted. You then had 10 working days after submitting the application to send the RPA the letter of support, and the RPA removed any item without it.
Where it can go
Where this item can be used is set out on its GOV.UK page. FieldBook does not check it against your land.
Land already in an SFI, Countryside Stewardship, HLS or Landscape Recovery agreement may be eligible for a capital item if the same work is not paid for twice, the actions in the two agreements are compatible and there is enough space in the parcel; on Countryside Stewardship land, any earlier capital works in that parcel must also be complete and paid for. Section 2.4 of the 2026 applicant's guide sets out the conditions.
Rate checked against GOV.UK on 1 October 2026. Read the official AQ2 guidance on GOV.UK.
